Today I have a super short before and after of my corridor which for some obscure reason was painted in this horrible army green shade that made it look really dark and dull.
Let´s face it, anyone who knows me, knows I do not like green, which in itself was putting me off already, no doubt! But in addition to the fact it was green, what really made me hate that colour was that the corridor ended up looking narrower and gloomier than a corridor should ever look. I confess it really scared me when my husband was away for business I had to constantly turn the lights on!!
I chose a light blue paint, to bring in a bit more light and also to tie the corridor area into the living area where I have turquoise blue chairs that really pop.
The colour reference is Caribe from Bruguer, there you go I hope you like it!
Although this is a very autum winter colour, I thought I'd brighten it up with some white flower stickers. I hope you like it!

I know I am veeeeeeeereery late on this one as it is a total cult within the blogosphere and YouTube beauty gurus out there. However I have to confess I tend to scare away from trying anything that is going through a big buzz out there because I end up putting my expectations so high I almost always end up disappointed. What I generally do is simple: I wait... Patiently!
Here is the idea behind holding back: if it's just a fashion it fades and if it is a truly amazing product it stays!
Bioderma was in vogue for two trends: the whole "eau micellaire" hype and then the amazing capacity to transform your skin gently.
I had tried other cleansing waters and although I like the refreshing feeling of the water I wasn't really impressed with the efficiency or even the effects on my skin. Hence why I let it to rest for a while longer before hitting the counter and getting it!
With summer my skin gets really sensitive and reactive, the heat makes me sweat wich is good to eliminate toxins but when it comes to my skin it just ends up in at terrible state: dry but prone to blemishes and very, very sensitive ! T.T
As I was in France recently and saw a discount on the green Bioderma (the one for greasy and combination skin) I decided to give it a good try!
Well guys, hats up, down and center: it is AMAZING!
I saw a difference on my first application! My skin felt refreshed and soothed almost instantly. My blemishes (which were very sore!!) just seemed to calm down on each application and started fading away!
For a few days I kept applying it morning and evening and if I felt a sore blemish or if it was very warm, I'd just pat my skin with some more on a cotton pad.
My skin is calmer and softer. And the blemishes seem to be less frequent and less active.
It's definitely a thumbs up!!
Masamorra con panela: I never had this before and it doesn't taste like anything I ever tasted, therefore, it's not easy to describe! Please bare with me on this one: It's like a sweet milky soup with sweet corn in it. The brown think is like unrefined brown sugar it has a bit of a caramel aftertaste. You'd really have to taste it to make your own opinion!
This week I wanted an elegant and simple manicure with a reminiscent touch of summer. I needed a break from the vivid summer colors without letting the summer go quite yet. Navy just seemed to be the obvious choice: despite being a dark color, it still has that summery and understated nautical touch that never let´s you down! The glitter just adds a fun girly flair.
