Bullet Journal - how I use it : weekly spread and other examples

Hello everyone!

It’s been a minute since I posted anything over here and there is no reason why that should be the case so we’re getting back into it!

I’ve never posted anything bullet journal related, but hey there is a first for everything, right?!

I have started to bullet journal at the end of last year and it has been a learning curve with a really fun and creative twist! Before you start thinking “oh dear! I can’t draw” here is a confession neither can I 🤣 I just have fun with it : there is no competition this is just for my own selfish enjoyment!

I am not religious about bullet journaling at all and some weeks, if I’m honest, the spreads go a bit to waste when it comes to planning but the whole idea of bullet journaling for me is that the journal adapts to me and not the other way around.

I wanted to have something that would allow me to be creative on a regular basis and bullet journaling was one of the things I tried out to see if it suited me. What I knew for a fact was that a regular agenda just didn’t work for me I ended up always wasting most of it and it wouldn’t inspire me due to the fact most of them where stuck in a certain style or theme.

Almost a year down the line, it turns out bullet journaling did work for me! It’s neutral and flexible enough for me to just do what I want when I want with it.
Some weeks I really focus on planning something and some other weeks I just fancy the drawing part of it which is totally ok!

I use a Moleskine dotted journal just because I am very attached to the brand (Van Gogh used them and since I am a kid I enjoy using them because of that, regardless of how childish that may be!).

The pages do transfer quite a lot so I took a thicker one in order to be able to glue them together whenever needed.

I am not precious with it at all: I personalized it with washi tape and just throw it in my bag if I am moving around!

I hope you found this short post useful in some way :)
